Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closings, budgeting support, and robust internal controls. The role includes coordinating external audits and aligning accounting practices with group standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in finance and accounting within manufacturing, plus at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
At least 10 years of work experience in finance and accounting within manufacturing.
At least 2 years of management experience in a finance/accounting role within manufacturing.
Experience performing month-end and year-end closings independently.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Experience coordinating financial audits.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end closing and year-end closing procedures and budgeting support.
Oversee daily accounting department activities and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
Prepare for financial audits and coordinate the audit process.
Maintain chart of accounts and accounting policies and procedures.
Guide other departments on accounting policy application.
Maintain internal controls for financial security.
Manage subordinates to ensure smooth accounting operations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy.
Collaborate with external auditors for year-end closing and reporting.
Coordinate with HQ and group companies on financial issues.
