Job summary

PT AAF International Indonesia is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to drive product applications, commissioning activities, and field troubleshooting. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and customers to ensure products meet requirements and operate reliably.

The role involves site testing, installation planning, and preparing documentation while delivering training to customers and internal teams. Travel to customer sites will be required to support projects and product upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience in technical support, service engineering, project engineering, commissioning, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation layouts.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and engineering software applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales, business development, customers, and internal teams on product applications and solutions.
• Conduct site testing, commissioning, inspections, and product performance evaluations.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues encountered by customers.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Support product selection, installation planning, and system integration activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, operating procedures, manuals, and training materials.
• Deliver technical training and product knowledge sessions for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and other departments to resolve challenges.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and industry exhibitions.
• Provide field feedback and recommendations to support product improvements.
