Job summary

OSI Electronics in Batam, Indonesia, seeks a skilled Process Engineer to lead NPI process engineering activities, prepare process documentation, and supervise new product launches in production. You will develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through startup and certification.

Candidates should have proven experience in process engineering, wire harness and box build, high‑mix manufacturing, PFMEA/8D, CAD/AutoCAD, and strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in process engineering.
• Experience in wire harness & Box build processes.
• High mix manufacturing experience.
• Control plan, PFMEA, 8D, Validation report.
• Stencil design is preferred.
• BOM creation and CAD/AutoCAD skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Process Engineering Assistants.
• Prepare process documentation.
• Periodic review and updating of Engineering Work Instructions and related forms.
• Supervise the process implementation in production during New Product launch.
• Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data.
• Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
• Perform process simulations.
• Manage cost and time constraints.
• Perform risk assessments.
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
• Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• Report quality problems or defects to management for corrective action.
