Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Surabaya seeks an Account Manager to provide total account management support for assigned property accounts, driving revenue and growth for the hotel.

You will partner with Sales and Marketing leadership and the property leadership team to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to grow market share from transient and group business while maintaining superb guest service. As needed, you may supervise Account Sales staff to ensure execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years in sales/marketing or related area.
• 2-year degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Hotel/Restaurant Management; no work experience required.
• Strong knowledge of hotel sales processes and account management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the overall account strategy for assigned accounts.
• Retains and grows account revenue through penetration and margin management.
• Penetrates accounts for group and transient business and catering opportunities.
• Builds relationships with buyers to drive hotel revenue and market share.
