You will identify suitable business sites, engage owners and staff, deploy data-collection devices, train staff, and ensure smooth, compliant data collection throughout the project period.

Responsibilities

• Business Development & Location Acquisition: conduct door-to-door outreach to potential locations and build relationships with business owners and staff.
• Device Deployment & Training: coordinate delivery and deployment of data-collection devices and train participating staff on procedures.
• Project & Field Operations: monitor collection process, provide on-site support, collect devices, and maintain records of locations, devices, schedules, and status.

Field Project Manager – AI Data Collection

About the Role

We are looking for aField Project Managerto support an AI Data Collection project in Jakarta.

This role combinesBusiness Development, field operations, and project coordination. You will be responsible for identifying suitable business locations, building relationships with business owners and staff, deploying data-collection devices, and ensuring the collection process runs smoothly.

This is a hands-on field role that requires someone who is comfortable meeting people directly, visiting different locations, and taking ownership of day-to-day project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Location Acquisition:

Conductdoor-to-door outreachto potential locations such as restaurants, cafés, tea shops, computer repair stores, and other suitable businesses.

Identify and approach business owners, managers, and relevant decision-makers.

Introduce the AI data collection project and obtain permission for participating staff to take part.

Build and maintain relationships with participating businesses.

Identify new locations and opportunities to support project expansion.

Device Deployment & Training:

Visit participating businesses and coordinate the delivery and deployment of data-collection devices.

Ensure devices are properly received and ready for use.

Explain and demonstrate basic device operation, including how to turn devices on/off and follow collection procedures.

Ensure participating staff understand the project requirements.

Project & Field Operations:

Coordinate with participating locations throughout the data collection period.

Monitor the collection process and follow up on operational issues.

Provide on-site support when necessary.

Collect devices after the assigned recording period.

Return devices and upload the full-day video recordings collected by participating staff.

Maintain accurate records of participating locations, devices, schedules, and collection status.

Coordinate with the internal project team to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience inBusiness Development, Sales, Project Management, Field Operations, Account Management, or a similar role.

Comfortable conductingdoor-to-door outreach and working extensively in the field.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Confident communicating with business owners, managers, and frontline staff.
