Job summary

PT Sam Bound Mitra Indonesia is seeking a Finance, Accounting, and Tax leader to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations. You will drive accurate reporting, manage monthly closings, and ensure compliance with PSAK and tax regulations.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic financial planning, while enhancing internal controls and governance across the organization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions for accurate reporting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with PSAK, tax regulations, and bonded zone requirements.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Oversee tax planning, reporting, and compliance including VAT and duties.
• Maintain internal control framework and governance compliance.
• Coordinate internal, external, tax, and customs audits and address findings.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision making.
• Drive process improvements and digitalization in Finance functions.

Job description

Lead and manage the Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.

Ensure compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), tax regulations, and bonded zone/customs requirements.

Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business operations.

Oversee tax planning, tax reporting, and tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and customs-related taxes.

Maintain a strong internal control framework and ensure compliance with company policies and corporate governance.

Coordinate internal, external, tax, and customs audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.

Provide financial analysis and business insights to support strategic decision-making and operational performance.

Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and digitalization initiatives within the Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions.

Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Sales, and other departments to support business objectives and improve financial performance.

Lead, coach, and develop the Finance, Accounting, and Tax team to achieve operational excellence and organizational goals.

Monitor financial risks and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate reporting requirements.
