Job summary

Luxasia in Indonesia seeks a senior finance leader to oversee VAT compliance, tax accounting and corporate income tax, while coordinating with external consultants. The role covers accounting, treasury, FP&A and statutory reporting for a fast-moving consumer goods/beauty retailer.

The candidate will drive annual audits, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, with a focus on process improvements and strong stakeholder collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Improve VAT monthly compliance, Withholding Tax, tax accounting & CIT.
• Liaise with tax consultants for CIT calculation and audits.
• Support Transfer Pricing documentation data requirements.
• Manage bookkeeping and month-end closing with accurate reporting.
• Submit group and statutory reports on time.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
• Monitor AR, AP, treasury and cash management.
• Prepare JEs and reconcile GL balances.

Job description

• Improve quality of VAT Monthly Compliance, Withholding Tax, Tax accounting and Corporate Income Tax and ensure the compliance with Tax regulation
• Liaise and coordinate with Tax consultant for CIT calculation, and support for Tax audit
• Support the data requirement for Transfer Pricing Documentation

Taxation

• Improve quality of VAT Monthly Compliance, Withholding Tax, Tax accounting and Corporate Income Tax and ensure the compliance with Tax regulation
• Liaise and coordinate with Tax consultant for CIT calculation, and support for Tax audit
• Support the data requirement for Transfer Pricing Documentation

Accounting

• Manage and ensure proper bookkeeping and timely Month End closing with accurate reporting result
• Manage the Profit Center, Cost Center and GL accounts
• Submit monthly/quarterly/yearly Group and statutory reports on time
• Conduct regular stock count and liaise with warehouse team/retail team and parties involved
• Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement
• Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput
• Monitoring BS recon
• Coordinate the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors
• OH Monitoring, accrual & realisation
• AP Recon for both I/CO & Local trade
• Reconcile prepaid/advance payment, GRIR account
• Prepare Journal entry and send to COE team, and Checking GL Balance after posting
• Ensure setting up the whole project related to vendor, customer, inventory management interfacing, etc
• Monitoring & Coordinating AR, Credit limit with AR team

Treasury

• Review AP payment for payment process, including WHT tax calculation, etc
• Review and Coordinate with local bank for any payment/financing facility documentation needed
• Liaise with the banks for updates in authorize signatories, agreements etc

Local Statutory

• Prepare Local statutory Reporting ( SIMODIS Bank of Indonesia )
• Prepare Local statutory Reporting ( LKPM on quaterly basis )

FP&A

• Preparing Management Report & External Report i.e. for BP
• Coordinate with respective team related to OI, claims etc
• Budgeting & Forecasting : liaise with respective stakeholder on the PNL building, monitoring and controlling. Provide any data or report to help respective team improve the profitability
• Provide PNL detail analysis and report to internal PUIG ID team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax, with at least 3-5 years in managerial level
• Strong experience in handling end-to-end finance function: Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A
• Proven experience in business controlling / commercial finance (mandatory)

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax)
• Experience in handling tax audit and liaising with tax consultants
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, month-end closing, and statutory reporting
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis (FP&A)
• Strong knowledge in balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, and P&L analysis
• Familiar with inventory management, stock opname, and cost control
• Experience in managing AP, AR, and treasury/payment processes
• Experience in handling external audit and internal controls
• Familiar with SAP or other ERP systems
