Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd seeks a Facilities Manager to ensure smooth operation of SPX Express offices and warehouses. You will organize preventive maintenance, oversee repairs, and keep detailed activity records while conducting regular inspections for standards and improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities include vendor management, obtaining quotes, ensuring timely project completion, and supervising security systems such as access control, CCTV, and alarms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 2 years in Facility Management or related field.
• Willingness to travel to SPX Express premises as needed.

• Ensure the smooth operation of all SPX Express office and warehouse spaces, promptly addressing any arising issues
• Organize preventive maintenance, oversee repairs, and supervise facility renovations while maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities
• Conduct thorough inspections across multiple SPX Express facilities to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for enhancement
• Source, assess, and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Obtain quotes and ensure timely, budget-friendly, and precise project completion
• Oversee access control systems, CCTV cameras, and alarm systems to guarantee premises safety and security
• Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans to effectively address potential crises

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relevant field from an accredited university
• 2 years of experience in Facility Management or a related field within a dynamic work environment
• Proficient in problem-solving with a high sense of accountability
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Willingness to be mobile and visit various SPX Express premises as needed
