Job summary

Japfa is seeking an Operations Engineer to oversee and optimize the efficiency of its facilities in Tangerang. This on-site role requires collaboration with the facility management team, production staff, and stakeholders to drive productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial engineering, proven experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, and a proactive approach to solving complex operational challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations engineering, facility management, or industrial engineering.
• Proven experience in optimizing manufacturing or industrial facility operations.
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing facility operations, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement in workflow, resource allocation, and safety protocols.
• Develop and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of facility equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with management and staff to implement strategic operational changes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational disruptions and implement corrective actions.
• Support planning and execution of facility upgrades and expansions.
