Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and coordinate to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Use procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange information clearly.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under supervision.
