About the Job

We’re looking for a Biodiversity Expert to join our Indonesia team.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with team members to achieve and actualize the project goal, identifying illustrative examples of successful sustainable land use and agricultural intensification projects.
• Provide technical support to the project team and effectively communicate evaluation results and implementation toolkits to a variety of audiences, including the general public, development professionals, policy makers, academics and practitioners.
• Provide relevant biodiversity information to technical staff and develop evaluation and workshop materials adaptable to different cultural, gender, social, political and ecological contexts.
• Achieve multiple gains simultaneously by reducing biodiversity loss, mitigating greenhouse‑gas emissions, enhancing adaptation to climate change, and increasing inclusive broad‑based economic growth.
• Report regularly on the progress of assigned activities to the team in accordance with routine and ad‑hoc reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in biodiversity.
• Basic safety knowledge, able to implement safety processes and mitigate risk effectively to ensure safe working practices.
