About The Job

We’re looking for a Gender Expert to join our Indonesia team. As Gender Expert you are responsible for ensuring gender considerations are integrated into project planning, implementation, and stakeholder engagement activities, promoting equitable participation and benefits.

You should have 5 years of experience in Social Sciences.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct orientation and briefing on gender and Gender Action Plan (GAP).
• Ensure gender is integrated into contractor/subcontractor contracts and related documents and ensure non‑discrimination in recruitment policy.
• Coordinate effectively to ensure GAP actions and targets are achieved.
• Ensure communication materials (website, leaflets/brochure, etc.) and SOP for stakeholder engagement and communication activities are gender sensitive and promote positive images of women in geothermal.
• Ensure fair participation of women in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of community development program.
• Conduct regular field trips to monitor GAP implementation, collect sex‑disaggregated data reflecting progress on GAP targets and indicators, and prepare progress reports.

Qualifications

• Basic safety and environmental knowledge, able to manage a team implementing safety processes, report near‑misses and mitigate risks.
• Applies experience from social sciences post‑graduate training and development studies to develop initiatives and programs to improve gender balanced roles and opportunities on the project.
• 5 years of experience in Social Sciences.
