Job summary

ARK Animal Wellness in Summarecon Bogor is seeking a new graduate veterinarian to begin their professional career under mentorship. This full‑time role focuses on developing clinical skills and contributing to animal welfare within our community.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Indonesia.
• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology and pathology.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical examinations and provide veterinary care to a diverse range of animal patients.

About the role

We are seeking a New Graduate Veterinarian to join ARK Animal Wellness in Summarecon Bogor. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for a recent veterinary graduate to begin their professional career in a progressive and supportive veterinary practice. As a New Graduate Veterinarian, you will work under the mentorship of experienced veterinary professionals whilst developing your clinical skills and building expertise in veterinary medicine. This role is fundamental to our mission of providing quality animal healthcare and contributes directly to enhancing animal welfare within our service area.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting clinical examinations and providing appropriate veterinary care to a diverse range of animal patients
• Performing routine and diagnostic procedures, including vaccinations, health assessments, and basic surgical procedures under supervision
• Developing and implementing treatment plans for animals presenting with various medical and surgical conditions
• Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records for all patients in compliance with professional standards
• Communicating clearly with animal owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options and animal health maintenance
• Assisting senior veterinarians with more complex cases and learning from their expertise
• Supporting infection control protocols and maintaining a safe and hygienic clinical environment
• Staying current with veterinary literature and best practices in animal healthcare
• Contributing to the overall smooth operation of the veterinary clinic

What we're looking for

• Recent graduation with a degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
• Valid veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Indonesia
• Strong foundational knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal anatomy, physiology and pathology
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex veterinary concepts to animal owners in a clear and compassionate manner
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing quality patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and accept constructive feedback
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Physical capability to handle animals and perform veterinary procedures
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and learning
• Previous veterinary clinical experience or internships are advantageous
