Experienced Technical Consultant (AI-Native Full-Stack Developer) at Lancia Consult in Jakarta, Indonesia, joining our Technology Consulting team to deliver AI-powered, scalable solutions with practical architectures.

You will work with functional consultants to understand business needs, design end-to-end solutions, and build production-ready apps using TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Next.js, Node.js/NestJS, and cloud platforms. This role blends engineering with client engagement and architecture.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of software engineering experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Production backend development with Node.js/NestJS and strong SQL/data modeling.
• Experience designing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Understand authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
• Experience with background workers, queues, scheduled jobs, and asynchronous processing.
• Familiarity with Git-based development, PRs, CI/CD, automated testing.
• Hands-on cloud deployment experience (Azure/AWS; GCP welcome).
• Secure handling of enterprise data and encryption practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools across the lifecycle.
• Ability to assess AI-generated code for correctness and security.
• English communication with regional teams and clients.

Responsabilités

• Translate business requirements into pragmatic, scalable end-to-end architectures across apps, data, integration, security and deployment.
• Design, build, test, and maintain production-grade apps using TS/JS, React/Next.js, Node.js/NestJS.
• Apply AI throughout the software development lifecycle with governance and architecture focus.
• Collaborate with consultants, developers, business users and tech stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Ensure security, observability, and production readiness with proper testing and CI/CD pipelines.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant (AI‑Native Full-Stack Developer) to join our growing Technology Consulting team in Jakarta.

You will be part of a highly talented, tight‑knit team that supports one another through both everyday delivery and the toughest project moments. We believe in strong teamwork, shared ownership, and a culture where people learn, grow, and succeed together.

This is not a conventional, ticket‑based software engineering position. You will work alongside functional consultants to understand complex business needs, shape practical solution architectures, and build scalable, production‑ready applications. You will use AI throughout the software development lifecycle while retaining strong engineering judgement, accountability, and ownership. The role offers broad exposure across solution architecture, full‑stack engineering, cloud deployment, AI‑native development, consulting delivery, and client engagement.

You can expect to be exposed to:

• Solution Architecture and Technical Design: Work alongside functional consultants to translate business requirements into pragmatic, scalable, end‑to‑end solution architectures across application, data, integration, security, and deployment layers.
• Technical Judgement and Solutioning: Assess functional and non‑functional requirements, make sensible technical trade‑offs, and communicate design decisions clearly to business and technology stakeholders.
• Full‑Stack Application Development: Design, build, test, and maintain production‑grade applications using TypeScript or JavaScript, modern front‑end frameworks such as React and Next.js, and backend frameworks such as Node.js and NestJS or comparable technologies.
• Data, APIs and Integration: Design relational data models, develop SQL‑based solutions, and build secure REST APIs and integrations. You will also work with authentication, authorisation, role‑based access control, background workers, queues, scheduled jobs, and asynchronous processing.
• Engineering Quality and Delivery: Apply disciplined engineering practices using Git‑based development, branching, pull requests, collaborative code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment across the delivery lifecycle.
• Cloud and Platform Engineering: Deploy and operate applications in cloud environments, preferably Azure or AWS, with GCP experience also welcomed. You will gain exposure to application hosting, secrets management, environment configuration, API management, production monitoring, telemetry, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Security and Production Ownership: Support the secure handling and encryption of enterprise and client data while ensuring applications remain maintainable, observable, reliable, and production‑ready.
• AI‑Assisted and AI‑Native Engineering: Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or comparable platforms throughout the software engineering lifecycle. You will create structured context and reusable coding instructions, while independently reviewing generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and architectural fit.
• Intelligent Applications and Agentic Solutions: Work with LLM APIs, structured outputs, tool calling, retrieval, prompt and context design, agentic patterns, human approval points, and safe system actions. You will consider AI evaluation, hallucination risks, guardrails, observability, latency, and consumption costs when building AI‑enabled solutions.
• Consulting and Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with consultants, developers, business users, and technology stakeholders. You will develop a deep understanding of client challenges and communicate technical decisions in a clear, practical, and outcome‑focused manner.

We are looking for people who:

• Have approximately 6–8+ years of software engineering experience, including ownership of production applications or equivalent evidence of senior‑level production responsibility. Have strong TypeScript or JavaScript experience. Have end‑to‑end production experience with a modern front‑end framework, preferably React and Next.js.
• Have production backend development experience, preferably with Node.js and NestJS or a comparable framework. Demonstrate strong SQL and relational data‑modelling capabilities.
• Have experience designing REST APIs and integrating systems.
• Understand authentication, authorisation, and role‑based access control.
• Have experience with background workers, queues, scheduled jobs, or asynchronous processing.
• Are comfortable with Git‑based development, pull requests, collaborative code reviews, CI/CD, automated deployment, and automated testing.
• Have hands‑on cloud deployment experience, preferably in Azure or AWS. GCP experience is also welcomed.
• Understand application hosting, secrets management, environment configuration, API management, logging, telemetry, alerting, and production troubleshooting.
• Can securely handle enterprise and client data and apply appropriate encryption and security practices.
• Have practical experience using AI‑assisted development tools across the software engineering lifecycle.
• Can independently assess AI‑generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and architectural fit.
• Understand LLM APIs, structured outputs, tool calling, retrieval, prompt or context design, and agentic development patterns.
• Can clearly explain technical decisions and trade‑offs to both business and technology stakeholders.
• Communicate confidently in English and are comfortable working with regional teams and clients. Are experienced, self‑directed, and able to take ownership without waiting for highly detailed instructions.
• Are product‑minded and consider user needs, business outcomes, maintainability, and long‑term value when building solutions.
• Are architecturally minded and able to see beyond individual features or technical requirements. Are comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast‑changing consulting environment.
• Can move quickly while maintaining discipline, security, and engineering quality.
• Are pragmatic, collaborative, client‑capable, and comfortable pairing with functional consultants and other developers.
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and are able to lead themselves and guide others when required
