Job summary

The Simbadda Group is seeking an accomplished Chemical Plant Manager to oversee operations at their Bogor, West Java facility. You will lead production, maintenance, safety, and compliance while driving performance and cost efficiency.

You will guide a diverse operations team, manage budgets, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to meet strategic targets and ensure safe, reliable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years in chemical plant operations with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of chemical processes, safety management, and manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve targets, cost efficiency, and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Lead and develop the operational team to foster high performance.
• Oversee budget management, capital expenditure planning, and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across plant operations.
