Job summary

Bali-based luxury resort in Seminyak seeks an accomplished Executive Chef (Expatriate) to lead the culinary team, oversee all kitchen operations, and create exceptional dining experiences.

You will drive menu development, uphold food safety standards, and manage costs while delivering five-star service across restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banquets, and events. Fluency in English and a track record with internationally recognized luxury hospitality brands are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years as Executive Chef in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
• Experience with international luxury brands in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian culinary preferences and luxury guest expectations.
• Proven leadership in multi-outlet culinary operations including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banquets, and events.
• Expertise in menu development, quality assurance, cost control and kitchen operations.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, food cost management, and inventory control.
• Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Fluent in English and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all culinary operations across dining venues, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, creativity, and presentation.
• Develop innovative menus aligned with luxury positioning and market trends.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive financial performance by managing food costs, labor productivity, budgeting, and waste reduction.
