Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform initial issue triage and escalation.
• Support internal trading-related applications including Global Risk, Middle Office, and Back Office systems.
• Coordinate with Dealer Desk and external vendors for issue resolution.
• Manage user accounts and configure client accounts on front-end trading platforms.

ETS (Electronic Trading Systems) Level 1 Support Engineer

This is a hands-on technical support role, primarily focused on electronic trading systems, with additional responsibilities covering IT support, infrastructure, applications, and client account setup as required. The successful candidate will work as part of the ETS Support Team, providing first-line operational support for electronic trading systems and related applications. The role requires a high level of responsibility, alertness, accuracy, and responsiveness, particularly during live market hours and outside normal business hours.

Key responsibilities

Provide Level 1 operational support for electronic trading platforms such as CQG, ATP, TT, and other related trading systems

Participate in a 24×7 shift rotation, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required

Monitor trading platforms, application processes, and system health to ensure stable operations

Perform initial troubleshooting and determine the appropriate escalation path to L2, vendors, or other technical teams

Support internal trading-related applications, including Global Risk, Middle Office, and Back Office systems

Provide Dealer Desk support for trading and technical issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors where required

Monitor and respond to trading-system alerts, incidents, and operational issues

Participate in ad-hoc projects, system changes, UAT, and implementation activities related to trading applications

Manage and maintain user accounts, including domain and email account setup

Configure and maintain client accounts on approved front-end trading platforms

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and elevate technical issues effectively

Good communication skills and the ability to work with internal users, Front Office, vendors, and technical teams

Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn

Able to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced electronic trading environment

Strong team player with flexibility to support multiple functions

Fundamental understanding of networking, Windows/Linux operating systems, and application support

Experience supporting trading platforms, financial systems, or brokerage environments is an advantage
