Job summary

Straits Financial Indonesia is seeking an ETS Level 1 Support Engineer to provide hands-on support for electronic trading systems and related IT infrastructure. The role concentrates on live market hours, with 24x7 shift rotation and collaboration across Front Office, IT, and vendors.

The candidate should have a diploma or bachelor’s in CS/IT, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate clearly under pressure. Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and escalate issues effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with internal users, Front Office, vendors, and technical teams.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 operational support for electronic trading platforms and related applications.
• Participate in a 24×7 shift rotation, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays where required.
• Monitor platform health and ensure stable operations; escalate to L2 or vendors as needed.
• Troubleshoot and perform initial issue triage and escalation.
• Support internal trading-related applications including Global Risk, Middle Office, and Back Office systems.
• Coordinate with Dealer Desk and external vendors for issue resolution.
• Manage user accounts and configure client accounts on front-end trading platforms.
