Job summary

ByteDance in Indonesia seeks an ERM Risk Specialist to shape risk strategy for the Multifinance business. You will develop governance, assess credit, operational, and compliance risks, and partner with product, underwriting, and tech teams to embed a proactive risk culture across markets.

The role requires 5+ years in risk within a financing environment, Bahasa Indonesia and English fluency, and knowledge of OJK regulations. Regular collaboration with senior management and the Board is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in credit risk, SME/merchant lending, or internal audit.
• Knowledge of OJK regulations for financing companies and AML/CFT requirements.
• Experience with merchant/SME creditRisk modelling and portfolio monitoring.
• APPI certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the Indonesia enterprise risk management framework, risk register, policies, standards and procedures.
• Identify and assess risks in Consumer and Merchant Financing, including credit, portfolio concentration, cash-flow and operational risks.
• Establish risk appetite, limits and escalation thresholds for the Multifinance entity with functional risk owners.
• Support RMC in policies, risk strategies, and risk management evaluations.
• Evaluate controls and residual risks; ensure remediation for material issues.
• Monitor KRIs, conduct risk reporting to management and the Board.
• Coordinate with Technology, Security, and Financial Crime for a holistic risk view.
• Deliver risk management training and promote a strong risk culture.
