Job summary

SeaOwl is seeking a hands-on Lead Buyer / Procurement Coordinator to support EPC projects in Batam, Indonesia. You will manage end-to-end procurement from sourcing to delivery, coordinating with Project, Engineering and Construction teams to meet budget and schedule.

Diploma or Bachelor's in a related field with at least 5 years’ EPC/O&G procurement experience is required. Strong vendor sourcing, negotiation, and Excel skills, plus good English, are essential to drive RFQs, PO issuance and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably EPC/O&G.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for EPC and project requirements.
• Review requisitions, specs and procurement requirements.
• Identify, pre-qualify and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations with vendors.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate quotations and make comparisons.
• Negotiate prices, terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders and documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers on manufacturing, delivery and documentation.
• Coordinate expediting and material management to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts.
• Support contract administration and change orders.
