Job summary

PetroSea is seeking an experienced commercial and contract leader to drive strategy, negotiations, and governance across projects in Jakarta. The role requires shaping commercial outcomes, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with client requirements.

Responsibilities include leading negotiations, tracking variations and claims, and maintaining cost controls while ensuring SHE and QA/QC adherence on site and travel to project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Law.
• Minimum 7 years in commercial and contract management.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, tender management, and project cost control.
• Strong understanding of commercial risk, cost analysis, and business profitability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective development, negotiation, and administration of commercial activities supporting project execution.
• Lead end-to-end commercial strategy including cost analysis, risk management, and client engagement.
• Collaborate to prepare, review, and finalize contractual documents for compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes to enhance profitability and governance.
• Lead negotiations, variations, and claims to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Monitor compliance with codes, QA/QC, performance standards, and safety requirements.
