Job summary

PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk is seeking an Environmental Specialist to lead and support programs that protect the environment across operations. You will drive environmental improvements, oversee annual budgets, and ensure compliance with SHE systems in a complex chemical plant environment.

The role requires coordinating with HR for worker training on SHE laws and regulations, supporting internal audits, and collaborating with QA and external bodies to sustain certifications and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing environmental programs and audits.
• Ability to plan and monitor budgets for environmental initiatives.
• Strong coordination with HR and other departments.
• Knowledge of SHE laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and support management programs for environmental protection.
• Review and renew environmental procedures annually and inform staff.
• Plan, supervise, and evaluate annual operating budgets for environmental needs.
• Implement Environmental programs aligned with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Systems.
• Participate in environmental audits; report findings and track corrective actions.
• Assist internal auditors and external certification bodies as needed.
• Coordinate with HR for worker SHE training.

Job description

Introduce/support management programs that optimize operational of plant on environment protection. This includes evaluating and implementing environment programs to ensure follow up of all environment aspect and environment audit.

Check all environment procedure at least every year and renew those, to inform those to all personnels about the newest procedure.

Plan, supervise, and evaluate annual budget and its implementation, to ensure avalability budget for operational according to the needs, effective and efficient.

Carry out and implement Environmental program to ensure workplace according to the Safety and Health, Environment and Quality Management Systems.

Involved in Environment audit; provide its finding report; and monitor the follow up of corrective action report and preventive action report.

Assist internal audit with the auditor of the company such as: Quality Assurance Section, or from outside companies such as: insurance, certification bodies, government, etc.

Coordinate with HR for worker training in areas such as required by SHE laws and regulations
