Job summary

PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk. is seeking an Enterprise Systems Lead to manage SAP S/4HANA finance landscape and drive continuous improvements for finance users.

The role focuses on reliable system operations, financial closing support, and leading a team to deliver effective SAP solutions in a dynamic Jakarta environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with relevant certification required.
• 10–15 years hands-on SAP functional experience in FI/CO and related modules.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA FICO, FM, Group Reporting and Advanced Closing Cockpit.
• Experience in multiple Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations and integration work.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day functional support for SAP FI, CO, FM and Group Reporting.
• Ensure SAP finance modules operate per design and business requirements.
• Manage incidents, service requests and escalations from users.
• Design and deliver SAP solutions from requirements to deployment.
• Mentor the Enterprise Systems team and coordinate cross-functional activities.

We’re Hiring Enterprise Systems Lead!

Join our Enterprise Systems team and take the lead in managing and continuously improving ESSA’s SAP S/4HANA finance landscape. This role will ensure reliable system operations, support financial closing and reporting processes, and lead the team in delivering effective solutions for finance and business users.

Work Location: Head Office – South Jakarta

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; relevant Finance/Accounting certification is required
• Minimum 10–15 years of hands‑on SAP functional experience
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA FICO and Funds Management (FM)
• Hands‑on experience in Group Reporting and Advanced Financial Closing Cockpit
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA configuration, implementation, support, and integration with other modules and third‑party applications
• Core team member in at least 4 Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
• Prior experience in an SAP Partner or Consulting Firm is required
• SAP FI/CO Certification is mandatory
• Strong capability in business process mapping, documentation, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Able to work independently, collaboratively, and under pressure with tight deadlines
• Prior experience as a Team Lead is preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day functional support for SAP FI, CO, FM, Group Reporting, and financial closing processes
• Ensure SAP finance modules operate effectively according to approved system design and business requirements
• Manage incidents, service requests, and escalations from finance and business users
• Design and deliver functional solutions from requirement gathering, configuration, testing, through deployment
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and drive permanent corrective actions
• Review and assess configuration changes before production deployment
• Support SAP integration across functional modules and third‑party applications
• Translate finance and business requirements into structured SAP solutions and process improvements
• Coordinate with Finance, Controlling, Internal Audit, Compliance, SAP Basis, ABAP, and other functional teams
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Enterprise Systems team to ensure strong performance and capability
