Job summary

Huawei seeks an IP Pre-Sales Engineer in Indonesia to drive enterprise IP Datacom engagements with major accounts. You will design scalable network architectures, support winning bids, and act as a technical advisor in customer discussions.

The role blends deep technical know-how with customer-facing, solution-selling skills and requires collaboration with account teams, product, and delivery engineers to ensure feasible, competitive architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ICT related field.
• Minimum 5 years of ICT Product Sales, Solution Sales, or Pre Sales Engineering within enterprise networking environments.
• Strong experience designing enterprise or carrier-grade network architectures for Financial Services Industry customers.
• Hands-on expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking technologies from vendors such as Huawei, Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols including IGP, BGP, MPLS, SR, SRv6, L2VPN, and L3VPN.
• Experience supporting RFI/RFP, tender management, technical proposal writing, and enterprise solution presentations.

Responsibilities

• Promote Huawei's IP Datacom portfolio including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking solutions.
• Design scenario-based enterprise network architectures tailored to banking, telecom, ISP, and mission-critical customer environments.
• Support account managers during technical presentations, workshops, requirement analysis, and customer solution discussions.
• Lead technical proposal preparation, solution design, BoQ creation, and RFI/RFP response activities.
• Participate in tender presentations and solution defense against competitor offerings.
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and product teams to ensure technical feasibility and project success.
• Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer requirements to improve solution competitiveness.
• Support Proof of Concept (POC), technical demonstrations, and enterprise networking workshops.
• Provide technical enablement and product training to internal teams and business partners.
• Contribute to long-term solution strategy and regional product competitiveness initiatives.
