Job summary

Nirvana Life Bali is seeking an Engineering (Civil) assistant to support senior technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and civil facilities within our hospitality properties. The role is ideal for candidates with basic technical knowledge and a hands-on willingness to learn.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, identify defects, and coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure safe, well-maintained facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil/building maintenance, preferably in hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of basic civil works, including carpentry, painting, waterproofing and plumbing.
• Responsible and able to work independently and as a part of team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for building structures and civil facilities.
• Identify structural/facility defects and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Support other Engineering activities as required.
• Conduct routine inspections of building structures, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, and other facility components.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance to ensure facilities remain in good condition.
• Report maintenance issues, potential hazards, and repair requirements to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining tools, equipment, and materials used for civil maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other Engineering team members to ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Record completed maintenance tasks and report any outstanding issues for further follow-up.

Able to manage assigned tasks, prioritize work, and complete maintenance activities in a timely manner.

Able to perform hands-on maintenance tasks when required.
