Job summary

Schneider Electric Indonesia is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design non standard mechanical parts for LV and MV, issue stock requisitions, and support project teams during quoting and order execution.

You will optimize material usage, ensure drawings meet quality and safety standards, and align with SHE requirements while collaborating with PM and other stakeholders. This role offers a hybrid work setup and global exposure.

Qualifications

• Mechanical degree or polytechnic (D3) required.
• 2 years of experience in the same field.
• Mechanical engineering and basic electrical knowledge.
• English and Indonesian language skills; familiarity with AutoCAD and Schneider tools.

Responsibilities

• Issue non standard mechanical drawings.
• Prepare fabrication and assembling lists.
• Optimize design and material selection.
• Improve design efficiency and provide technical clarifications.
• Adhere to SHE requirements and manage hazards.

• To issue Stock Requisition.
• To support PM during offer and order execution.
• To optimized selection and the usage of material.

What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization?

• To achieve Quality of Service mechanical drawing
• To optimized mechanical design in term of consumption of material, quality and standardization.
• To support PM during make quotation for LV or MV equipment.
• To minimized NQ drawing and NQ SR
• To optimized selection of material/component and awareness raw material
• To ensure the activity and design product comply to Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.

What will you do?

• To Issue non standard mechanical drawing
• To prepare fabrication list
• To prepare assembling list
• To optimize design of product
• To optimize selection of material
• To improve efficiency of design
• To support TC for mechanical aspect or tech. clarification
• To be aware of to hazards and environmental aspects, identify hazard in workplace and to ensure risk control being executed to minimize the hazard
• To execute the task accordance with of SHE requirements and work procedure, active participate in implementation of SHE management System and ensure the work process and its result comply with SHE requirements and follow up any SHE related matters

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Mechanical Degree or Polytechnic ( D3 )
• Having experiences 2 years in the same field
• Mechanical Engineering, Basic electrical
• Language skill in English and Indonesia, AutoCAD and Schneider software tools, Schneider product, Non Schneider product, Computerization
