In this role, you warmly welcome guests, guide them through the menu, take accurate orders, and suggest dishes and drinks. You’ll work with the team to ensure clean sections, smooth service, and flawless hospitality every shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or a similar service role is preferred
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for guest experience
• Someone who can move fast, stay organised, and keep their cool when things get busy
• A team player who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and doesn't wait to be asked twice
• Good English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
• A willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow with the team

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth, guide them through the menu, and make sure they feel at home from the moment they walk in
• Take orders accurately, know your food and beverage menu, and confidently recommend dishes, drinks, and specials
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while keeping presentation and service standards on point
• Keep your section organised, tables clean, and the floor running smoothly — even when the place is packed
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar, and fellow team members to keep service flowing
• Handle guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally, with a solution-focused attitude
• Stay sharp during busy shifts, anticipate what guests need, and keep the good vibes alive even when the tickets keep coming
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures because great hospitality starts with the basics
• Support opening and closing duties, restocking, and daily cleaning to keep the space ready for service
• Work as part of the team, help your teammates when things get hectic, and understand that great service is never a solo performance
