Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Midwifery is required.
• Minimum three years working experience, of which two years in MCH programmes.
• Experience in clinical setups is mandatory, particularly in maternal and child health areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate delivery of mobile health and nutrition activities as per programme guidelines.
• Provide essential health and nutrition services including ANC, FP, IMNCI/ICCM, safe motherhood, emergency services and EPI per MOH guidelines.
• Organise training and support MOH staff at health posts, health centres and districts; ensure referrals and linkage with facilities.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports of ANC, FP, EPI, health education and consultations; ensure accurate record-keeping and patient referrals.
