Job summary

ABB in Jakarta is seeking a Project Coordinator/Engineer to support the execution of medium-size electrical distribution and electrification projects. You will assist in ensuring activities align with procedures, standards, and project targets, while collaborating with senior project managers and cross-functional teams.

The role operates in a hybrid work model and contributes to ABB's Electrification Distribution Solutions Business in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3-7 years of experience in project coordination/management within electrical distribution, power systems, automation, or EPC environments.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, substations, protection systems, and electrical distribution solutions.
• Understanding of project execution principles, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with ABB products, IEC standards, and Indonesian project environments preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Project, SAP, Microsoft Office applications, or equivalent project management tools.

• Supporting project documentation, contract administration, change management, and project close-out activities in accordance with contractual requirements.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the execution of medium-size electrical distribution and electrification projects. You will assist in ensuring that project activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and project targets. You will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver contracted project outcomes while developing your project management expertise.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business in Jakarta.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the project manager in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and controlling project activities to achieve project objectives.
