Job summary

Arbeit Infotech in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to uphold the highest safety standards across electrical installation and construction activities.

You will lead HSE inspections, risk assessments, PTW/LOTO processes, and toolbox talks, while ensuring compliance with Indonesian K3 regulations and ISO 45001.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or OH&S and at least 2 years in similar sectors, you’ll drive incident investigations and safety training on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years as an HSE professional in electrical, construction, EPC, data center, power plant, or industrial projects.
• Experience in data centre projects and critical power/thermal infrastructure.
• Experience in shipyard, marine, offshore, or industrial construction environments, particularly in Batam or similar facilities.
• Necessary certifications and competency requirements for working within a shipyard environment.
• Strong understanding of Electrical Safety, LOTO, Permit to Work (PTW), HIRADC/JSA, and incident investigation.
• Familiarity with Indonesian K3 regulations and ISO 45001 implementation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety standards.
• Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments for electrical works.
• Review and monitor HIRADC/JSA, Permit to Work (PTW), and LOTO implementation.
• Lead safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and HSE awareness training.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor PPE compliance and electrical safety requirements on site.
• Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety documentation.
• Willing to work on project sites and travel if required.
