Electrical Commissioning Supervisor - Data Center (Indonesia-based)

Job summary

Damac Digital in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead commissioning of data centre electrical and ELV systems. You will develop and execute commissioning plans, oversee testing, and hand over documentation to Operations.

The role requires deep expertise in MV/LV systems, industry standards (NETA, IEC, IEEE), and proven leadership across project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in electrical engineering, construction, commissioning and project management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in data centres.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NETA, IEC, IEEE, and applicable local standards.
• Hands-on experience with Short Circuit Coordination Studies in MV and LV systems

Responsibilities

• Review project documentation: design plans and specifications, Basis of Design (BOD), Owner's Project Requirements (OPR), method statements and checklists.
• Prepare Commissioning reviews spanning concept design through to handover.
• Develop detailed commissioning plans and procedures for data centre electrical systems.
• Develop and review Level 2 to Level 5 commissioning scripts and test sheets.
• Coordinate with the End User, contractors and other stakeholders to keep commissioning on track.
• Supervise and witness testing of data centre systems, including power, cooling and automation.
• Conduct performance testing to verify system efficiency and capacity, including failure-scenario testing.
• Run functional testing (electrical systems operating as intended) and integration testing (electrical systems working with other data centre systems).
• Conduct final testing and verification of electrical and ELV systems, including Integrated Systems Testing (IST), Tier Certification of Constructed Facility (TCCF) support, and Authority Inspections.
• Hand over complete, accurate documentation to Operations and the End User.
