Job summary

SIGMATECH is seeking an experienced economic analyst to support client strategy with rigorous research and data-driven insights. You will conduct economic analysis, build models, forecast market trends, and prepare detailed reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

You will collaborate with senior consultants, manage multiple client projects, and leverage tools like R, Python, Stata, Excel, and BI platforms to deliver actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in economic analysis, management consulting, or related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency with statistical software and data analysis tools such as R, Python, Stata, or Excel.
• Expertise in economic modelling, forecasting, and quantitative research methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex economic concepts into insights.
• Solid understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic principles and their practical applications.
• Experience in a consulting environment or managing multiple client projects.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools Tableau or Power BI.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Indonesian market dynamics and economic conditions.
• Preferred: Prior experience with strategic business consulting or market entry analysis.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline

Minimum 3 years of experience in economic analysis, management consulting, or a related analytical role

Strong proficiency with statistical software and data analysis tools such as R, Python, Stata, or Excel

Demonstrated expertise in economic modelling, forecasting, and quantitative research methodologies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex economic concepts into clear, actionable insights

Solid understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic principles and their practical applications

Experience working in a consulting environment or managing multiple client projects simultaneously

Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred: Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
