Job summary

PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) seeks a Data Quality professional on a contract basis in South Jakarta to ensure data integrity and governance across the organisation. You will design quality frameworks, run audits and build dashboards to monitor health, collaborating with DBAs, data engineers and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data cleansing, test case development and remediation of defects, contributing to regulatory compliance and BI outcomes within diverse data projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data quality assurance, data validation or database administration roles within ICT
• Strong proficiency with database platforms and SQL for data analysis, querying and quality assessment
• Experience with data quality tools and software such as data profiling tools, ETL validation frameworks or data quality platforms
• Solid understanding of data governance, data management principles and regulatory compliance requirements relating to data handling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of data issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all deliverables
• Ability to document processes clearly and communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining data quality reports, dashboards and visualisations
• Experience with data warehousing, BI platforms or analytics environments is advantageous
• Knowledge of industry data standards and best practices in data quality management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teamwork

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data quality frameworks, standards and methodologies to ensure consistency across data systems
• Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify, document and report data issues

About the role

We are seeking a Data Quality professional to join PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) on a contract basis. This role is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta and is fundamental to ensuring the integrity, accuracy and reliability of our data assets across the organisation. As a Data Quality specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of data management and governance, directly supporting our business intelligence, analytics and operational decision-making processes. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse data projects whilst contributing to the company's commitment to data excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement data quality frameworks, standards and methodologies to ensure consistency across all data systems and platforms
• Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify, document and report on data issues and anomalies
• Design and maintain data quality metrics, dashboards and monitoring tools to track data health and performance
• Collaborate with database administrators, data engineers and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve data quality issues
• Create and execute data quality test cases and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy before and after system implementations
• Develop data cleansing procedures and automated processes to remediate identified data quality defects
• Document data quality issues, root causes and corrective actions in accordance with organisational standards
• Provide recommendations for improving data governance policies, data architecture and data management practices
• Support data migration projects by ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the migration lifecycle
• Liaise with stakeholders to communicate data quality status, trends and improvement initiatives
