What You Will Experience:
- Lead biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, and habitat management programs across operational areas.
- Develop and implement biodiversity management strategies to support sustainability commitments and PROPER targets.
- Ensure effective conservation and monitoring of Rare, Threatened, and Endangered (RTE) species and their habitats.
- Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of HCV/HCS management plans and biodiversity initiatives.
- Lead biodiversity risk assessments and nature-related programs in alignment with FSC, TCFD, and TNFD frameworks.
- Manage ecology-related audits, certification processes, compliance assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Develop biodiversity databases, monitoring systems, and sustainability reporting to support business and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, government agencies, NGOs, certification bodies, and research institutions to strengthen environmental performance.
- Provide strategic recommendations to support sustainable forest management and corporate ESG objectives.
What is Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Forestry, Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ecology, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem management, forestry, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), PROPER, and environmental audit processes.
- Proven experience in managing biodiversity programs, sustainability initiatives, certification requirements, and compliance audits.
- Experience in HCV/HCS management, ecological monitoring, and conservation planning is highly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Willing to travel frequently to operational and remote areas.
