Job summary

HIPRA Indonesia is seeking an Area Manager to lead the sales network in East Java, driving growth and efficiency. The role focuses on achieving business objectives, managing key accounts, and ensuring budgeted targets are met in a dynamic, multinational environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in animal health sales, 5+ years in people management, a degree in Veterinary Medicine/Science/Business Administration, and strong negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Science or Business Administration.
• Fluent in local language and good command of English.
• 10+ years of sales experience in the Animal Health sector, preferably in Biologicals, plus 5 years in people management.
• Strong responsibility, negotiation, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the sales team to achieve area targets.
• Follow up on network performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify recruitment and training needs and participate in selection.
• Manage accounts in the area and visit main accounts periodically.
• Aim to achieve the sales budget and correct deviations.
• Manage customer credit and strict collections control.
• Be responsible for the bottom line of the assigned area.
• Set prices according to policies and manager directions.
• Negotiate annual goals with customers and distributors.
• Analyze market potential and share insights with Hipra departments.
• Coordinate Marketing and Technical Services needs with relevant departments.
• Implement and follow up on marketing plans.
