Job summary

Grab Indonesia is hiring for a Government Affairs & Community Engagement role. You will lead online engagement and sentiment across driver-partner communities, translating policy updates into clear Bahasa messages and shaping trusted narratives.

You will report to the Director, Government Affairs & Community Engagement and work on-site in the Jakarta office, partnering with policy, product, and operations to address evolving issues in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in community management or related fields, with Indonesia gig economy or public sector exposure.
• Experience engaging driver-partner or gig communities with credibility and empathy.
• Ability to translate policy, product updates, and regulatory topics into clear messages for broad audiences.
• Proven track record in managing large online communities and campaigns.
• Strong crisis management and political communication judgment; adept with social listening tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead online engagement and sentiment management for driver-partner communities across platforms.
• Translate complex policies and updates into relatable Bahasa Indonesia messages.
• Synthesize community chatter into actionable recommendations for product, policy, and operations.
• Develop response plans to address misinformation and reputational risks with sound judgment.
• Manage relations with driver leaders, KOLs, and agency partners to amplify messaging.
• Advise leadership on sensitive community issues related to regulatory and sociopolitical dynamics.
• Collaborate with field operations to link online engagement with offline activities.
