About the role

PT Adi Teknik Karya Bakti is seeking an experienced Drafter ME (Mechanical Engineering) to join our Engineering team in Jakarta on a full-time basis. As a Drafter ME, you will play a vital role in translating engineering concepts and designs into precise technical drawings and documentation. This position is essential to our design and manufacturing processes, ensuring that all mechanical components and assemblies are accurately represented and ready for production. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our projects.

Key responsibilities

Create detailed mechanical drawings and technical documentation using CAD software, adhering to industry standards and company specifications

Collaborate with mechanical engineers to interpret design concepts and convert them into comprehensive technical drawings

Prepare assembly drawings, component drawings, and technical specifications for manufacturing and assembly teams

Review and revise drawings based on engineering feedback and quality requirements

Maintain accurate and organised drawing files and documentation systems

Ensure all drawings comply with relevant technical standards, codes, and regulations

Assist with the preparation of bills of materials and parts lists

Communicate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical queries and drawing issues

What we're looking for

Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent mechanical design tools

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and assembly requirements

Knowledge of technical drawing standards and conventions, including ISO and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under time constraints

Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design, or a related field

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Drafter in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment

Experience with 3D modelling and rendering is highly desirable

Familiarity with PDM (Product Data Management) systems would be advantageous
