PT Berkah Daya Alam is seeking a skilled Drafter based in Bali to transform briefs and visual references into detailed, production-ready drawings for furniture, interior, and construction projects. You will work with the design and production teams to ensure accurate shop drawings and timely revisions.

The role requires proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD, at least 1 year of drafting experience, and a strong eye for detail to minimize waste and ensure fabrication accuracy.

Competenze

• Based in Bali preferred.
• D3/Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD for working drawings.
• Minimum 1 year of drafting/interior design experience in furniture, interior, or construction.
• Understanding of basic furniture construction: joinery types, material thickness, and size tolerances.
• Knowledge of solid wood, plywood, and finishing characteristics.
• Ability to read and translate visual references (moodboards, sketches, Pinterest) into technical drawings.
• Meticulous attention to detail to prevent errors and material waste.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Drafter with strong SketchUp skills to turn design briefs and visual references into detailed, production-ready shop drawings for furniture, interior, and construction projects. You’ll work closely with our sales/design team and production teams (no direct client contact).

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate shop drawings (dimensions, materials, joinery, finishing) using SketchUp and AutoCAD
• Translate briefs, sketches, and visual references into executable working drawings
• Revise drawings based on client feedback (relayed by the sales/design team) and production notes
• Coordinate with our Jepara and Bali production teams to ensure designs fit machine and craftsperson capacity
• Archive all project drawings systematically and maintain a clear revision history
• Perform final quality checks to prevent dimension and specification errors before drawings go to production
• Support design concept development, moodboards, and 3D visualizations/renders as needed

Qualifications

• Based in Bali (preferred)
• Minimum D3/Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Product Design, or a related field
• Proficiency in SketchUp (required) and AutoCAD for working drawings
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a drafter or interior designer in furniture, interior, or construction (fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply)
• Understanding of basic furniture construction: joinery types, material thickness, and size tolerances
• Knowledge of solid wood, plywood, and finishing characteristics
• Ability to read and translate visual references (moodboards, sketches, Pinterest) into technical drawings
• Meticulous attention to detail, as small drawing errors can lead to material waste in production
• Ability to manage repeated revisions with organized version control
• Comfortable coordinating with the production team to clarify drawings before execution

A portfolio of shop drawings and design work to present at interview

Nice to Have

• Rendering skills (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, or similar)
• Experience with custom/made-to-order furniture projects
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or Canva for presentation boards
