Job summary

JV DESIGN in Indonesia seeks a Senior Interior Drafter to produce accurate gambar kerja for interior design and build projects. You will translate concepts and 3D visuals into construction drawings ready for on-site execution.

You will prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, and electrical layouts, coordinate with designers, QS, PM, and site supervisors, and maintain organized drawing sets with revision histories.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of interior drafting experience.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp is a plus.
• Understanding of interior construction, joinery, and MEP coordination.
• Able to read and interpret interior design concepts and 3D renders.
• Portfolio of interior projects and technical drawings required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete gambar kerja including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Translate interior designs and 3D renders into construction drawings.
• Ensure accurate dimensions, levels, material specs, and construction details.
• Coordinate with designers, QS, PM, and site supervisors for consistency.

Job description

JV Design is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Interior Drafter to produce accurate, comprehensive, and construction-ready gambar kerja for our interior design and build projects.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of interior construction, technical detailing, and material specifications, with the ability to translate design concepts and 3D visualizations into precise technical drawings that can be executed correctly on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare complete gambar kerja, including floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, electrical layouts, flooring patterns, joinery details, and custom furniture drawings.

Translate approved interior designs and 3D renders into detailed, technically accurate construction drawings.

Ensure all drawings include correct dimensions, levels, material specifications, and construction details.

Coordinate with interior designers, quantity surveyors, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure consistency across drawings, BOQs/RABs, and site execution.

Conduct site measurements and verify existing conditions before finalizing drawings.

Identify potential construction issues, technical conflicts, and design discrepancies before work begins.

Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and project requirements.

Maintain organized drawing sets, revision histories, and documentation for each project.

Review and check the accuracy of drawings prepared by junior drafters.

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior drafting or a related architectural field.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp and other relevant software are an advantage.

Good understanding of interior construction methods, joinery, materials, MEP coordination, and installation details.

Able to read and interpret interior design concepts, 3D renders, and construction drawings.

Highly detail-oriented, systematic, and capable of meeting project deadlines.

Able to work independently, coordinate across departments, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A portfolio of completed interior projects and technical drawings is required.
