PMI’s Manufacturing organization is seeking a Digital Transformation Lead to connect factory challenges with technology and scale AI solutions across sites and regions. You will drive value-focused opportunities, run MVPs, and champion adoption to deliver measurable productivity gains.

You’ll collaborate with global Digital Engineering and Technology teams, coach local resources, and transform pilot learnings into scalable approaches that accelerate a smoke-free future through digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field is required.
• 5+ years in Digital Transformation, Industry 4.0 or digital manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional digital use cases in production.
• Ability to translate business problems into practical Digital/AI solutions.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management.

• Identify and shape Digital and AI opportunities with value, feasibility and scalability.
• Drive proofs of concept and proofs of value using a fail-fast, learn-fast approach.
• Support MVP development by validating requirements, coordinating user testing and ensuring operational readiness.
• Lead deployment across pilot sites, mobilizing local resources and driving effective changes.
• Promote practical use of AI, analytics, automation and digital tools to improve productivity.
• Build strong partnerships with factory leadership, regional Operations, Engineering and global digital teams.
• Turn lessons from pilots into repeatable approaches that can scale across sites and regions.

Impact You’ll Own

• Build and prioritize a pipeline of high-value Digital and AI use cases aligned with Manufacturing priorities.
• Accelerate ideas from discovery and experimentation to scalable solutions with clear business value.
• Strengthen adoption and value realization across production lines, factories and regions.
• Build sustainable Digital and AI capability through communities, coaching and approved tools.
• Connect business needs with global Digital Engineering and Technology teams to enable faster execution.

What You’ll Do

Skills & Capabilities

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in Digital Transformation, Industry 4.0 or digital manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional digital use cases in production or manufacturing environments.
• Strong ability to translate business problems into practical Digital or AI solutions.
• Good understanding of Digital Manufacturing architecture across OT, IT, AI and Cloud.
• Practical exposure to AI-enabled use cases such as analytics, optimization or automation.
• Familiarity with MVP, product-based delivery and agile experimentation.
• Knowledge of operational excellence, productivity, quality or maintenance domains.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with global or federated teams.
• Clear and confident English communication, strong business judgment and the ability to influence through change.
