Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Diamond Driller to support exploration and mine development drilling in remote Papua New Guinea. You will operate diamond drill rigs, ensure core quality, and maintain equipment reliability under strict safety standards.

Collaborating with geologists, supervisors, and maintenance teams, you will meet productivity targets, manage samples, and participate in hazard identification and safety controls across rotating rosters and remote camp environments.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or equivalent practical industry experience.
• 3–5 years of professional diamond drilling experience in mining or exploration.
• Experience operating diamond drill rigs in underground and/or surface environments.
• Experience in remote mining operations, camp-based or rotational rosters.
• Strong safety culture and compliance with site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diamond drill rigs safely to support drilling programs.
• Meet planned targets, productivity objectives, and performance requirements.
• Deliver high-quality core recovery according to geological standards.
• Handle, manage, and present core samples accurately.
• Inspect, maintain, and manage consumables to maximize availability.
• Troubleshoot and support corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Identify hazards and apply site safety controls.
• Collaborate with geologists, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
• Support continuous improvement in drilling performance and safety.
