Job summary

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team at China Construction First Group Corporation Limited in our Cirebon, West Java location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design process for our civil and structural engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate the activities of the design team, ensuring timely delivery of design documents and effective collaboration between disciplines, good in English and Mandarin

Review and validate design proposals, drawings, and calculations to ensure they meet technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements

Facilitate design reviews and client consultations, capturing and resolving any issues or concerns

Maintain comprehensive design documentation and records, ensuring all necessary approvals and sign-offs are obtained

Liaise with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to align the design process with overall project objectives

Provide technical guidance and support to the design team, identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation

Has design management ability and EPC management

What we’re looking for

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in a design coordination or project management role within the civil/structural engineering industry

Demonstrated proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams

Proven track record of managing design projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design-related issues
