Job summary

Formulatrix Indonesia is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive design, prototyping, testing, and optimization of automation lab equipment at our Central Java site. You will develop mechanical components and systems, verify performance, and prepare documentation to move concepts into manufacturing.

The role requires experience in mechanical design, machining/fabrication, and CAD/CAM tools, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple projects at once.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Has experience in mechanical design and manufacturing (machining and fabrication).
• Has experience in mechanism design, automation, or special purpose machines.
• Have the ability of using CAD/CAM (SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus).
• Have the ability to participate in DFMEAs and support PFMEAs.

Responsibilities

• Designing and prototyping mechanical components and systems.
• Evaluating the test and design result, and redesigning until the product is ready to be manufactured.
