Job summary

Qualifications

• STR nursing registration is required.

• Assist in providing basic dental services and health education, including oral hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in delivering dental services during mobile and community clinic activities.
• Conduct preventive dental health education and outreach in schools and community settings.
• Support implementation of community clinic services.
• Prepare written reports on duties and activities for the foundation.
• Assist in compiling annual reports for sponsors including achievements and evaluations.
• Ensure medicines and medical supplies are available for mobile and community clinics.
• Coordinate scheduling of mobile clinic visits with Puskesmas.
• Participate in foundation activities and outreach programs as needed.

Yayasan Westerlaken Alliance Indonesia is an Indonesian non-profit organization established in 2015 by Dr. Rodney Westerlaken, M.A.,M.Si.,M.Ed., as the local partner of the Westerlaken Foundation in the Netherlands. Led by an entirely Indonesian board, the foundation is committed to various social causes, including the Dental Health Awareness Program. This program aims to provide dental healthcare services and preventive education to the community, particularly children under the age of 10, to prevent early dental issues and raise awareness about the importance of oral hygiene. Through school visits across Bali, the program offers dental check-ups and educational sessions to promote better oral health among young children.

Opportunity for Dental Nurse

We are looking for a Dental Nurse with the following qualifications:

• Holds a valid Nursing Registration Certificate (STR).
• Willing to work full-time (8 hours per day) and participate in mobile clinic activities across Bali.
• Willing to support both mobile clinic services and community-based clinic activities.
• Open to fresh graduate nurses with a valid STR.
• Able to assist in providing basic dental services and health education, especially on oral hygiene.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel for official duties if required.
