Job summary

Lesaffre Indonesia is seeking a Demand Planning Supervisor based in Malang, East Java. You will balance demand, inventory, service level, and cash flow by coordinating across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

You will lead forecasting, improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory, and drive S&OP discussions while monitoring key KPIs and mitigating risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in Supply Chain & Planning.
• Strong demand planning and inventory management understanding.
• Good analytical skills with Excel and ERP; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Proactive, problem solver, cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand forecasting & analysis using historical data, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and business plans.
• Challenge and improve forecasts to increase Forecast Accuracy.
• Drive inventory optimization and ensure the right balance between availability, service level, and inventory value.
• Facilitate S&OP discussions and translate demand insights into actionable plans.
• Monitor key Supply Chain KPIs: Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Days/Value, OTIF, OFR, and CTP.
• Identify supply-demand risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and relevant training.
• Build a collaborative, data-driven, and continuous improvement mindset within the team.

Job description

At Lesaffre Indonesia, the Demand Planning Supervisor plays an important role in balancing customer demand, inventory, service level, and cash flow. This role involves working across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to help the business make smarter decisions and improve forecast and inventory performance. This is a full-time position based in Malang, East Java

Key responsibilities

Lead demand forecasting & analysis using historical data, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and business plans.

Challenge and improve forecasts to increase Forecast Accuracy.

Drive inventory optimization and ensure the right balance between availability, service level, and inventory value.

Facilitate S&OP discussions and translate demand insights into actionable plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, Management, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Supply Chain & Planning.

Strong understanding of Demand Planning & Inventory Management.

Good analytical skills with Excel and ERP; SAP experience is an advantage.

Proactive, problem solver, result-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally.

CSCA/CSCP or relevant certification is a plus.
