Grab Jakarta seeks a Demand Strategy professional to bridge strategy development and operational demand execution for GrabFood and GrabExpress. You will align with stakeholders on demand levers to support P&L topline and report to the Head of Demand Strategy and User Growth, onsite in the Jakarta office.

You will forecast demand, design promo schemes, monitor performance, and build dashboards. Strong financial modeling and data-driven decision making are essential in this fast-moving tech

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in strategy, business analysis or campaign development.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Business Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, simulation and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL/Python/R are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define problem statements with root-cause analysis to ensure we are solving the right problems in GrabFood and GrabExpress.
• Develop forecasts for GrabFood and GrabExpress weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly, including monitoring the run rate.
• Develop promo designs which includes offering scheme, funding scheme as well as profitability level.
• Monitor performance of each lever being executed including financial and operational performance metrics and flag variances that require attention or immediate actions.
• Design, build, and maintain performance dashboards that visualize key financial metrics, ensuring data accuracy and timely refreshes for stakeholder access.
• Identify all trade-offs in terms of business impact between each option during decision making process.

Demand Deliveries serves as the demand growth engine for Grab, housed within the Central Deliveries & Mobility. Work is interdisciplinary - the team focuses on growing demand efficiently, with projects covering overall strategy, ideation, experimentation, and driving implementation of growth projects

Get to Know the Role

In this role, you will bridge demand strategy development and operational demand execution for both GrabFood and GrabExpress. You will collaborate with stakeholders to get the alignment on demand levers and strategies in order to help achieve P&L topline, track financial and lever's performance, and contribute to business planning cycles. You will report to the Head of Demand Strategy and User Growth and will be based onsite in the Grab Jakarta office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Structure the problem statements including root cause analysis to ensure we are solving the right problems in GrabFood and GrabExpress
• Develop forecast for ID GrabFood and GrabExpress on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly, including monitoring the run rate

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• A Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategy, business analysis, and/or campaign development roles. Experience in the technology industry or market planning experience from FMCG is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Business Management, Industrial Engineering
• Proven experience in financial modeling, simulation and analysis
• Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions). SQL/Python/R skills are advantageous
