Job summary

INTIKOM is hiring a Database Administrator to manage and maintain complex server environments across VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server and Linux platforms. The role focuses on ensuring security, performance, and reliability of data center infrastructure in a growing IT environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure and system administration, with hands-on expertise in patch management, server hardening, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics Engineering/Information Systems/Computer Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure or system administration.
• Strong experience with physical and virtual servers using VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• Proficient in Windows Server and Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Hands-on patch management, server hardening, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of SAN/NAS/backup technologies.
• Experience with virtualization management, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with Data Center and Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; good communicator.
• Relevant certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain physical and virtual server environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Perform patch management, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation to ensure security compliance.
• Manage storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, backup, and restore operations.
• Monitor and optimize virtualization platforms, infrastructure performance, and capacity planning.
• Support Data Center and Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) operations and infrastructure.
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, and provide performance reporting.
• Prepare and support Disaster Recovery (DRC) testing activities.
