Job summary

Hexagon Mining, Inc. is seeking a data analytics professional to transform high-volume operational data into real-time insights for mining production and safety.

You will collect data across Hexagon platforms, build reports and dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related field, experience with Python and SQL, Tableau or PowerBI, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience with large volume data management and pipelines.
• Strong ability to analyze large GPS/positioning datasets.
• Experience using end-user reporting tools Tableau or PowerBI.
• Knowledge about data pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dual languages, including English in written and verbal form.

The Position: Reporting to the Team lead Smart Centre position will work closely with clients and internal teams to analyse large-scale operational and positioning data, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making to enhance operational performance and efficiency for our client mining production and safety performance.

This role will require you to collect and collate a broad range of data across our technology platforms, condensing high volume content into insightful and accessible reports, dashboards and KPI structures- bridging data analytics across to actionable outcomes. This will see you work cross functionally within Hexagon teams to identify solutions for our customer to support improvement activities or address operational challenges.
