Job summary

PT Yupi Indo Jelly Gum is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines from ERP/SAP systems into centralized data stores. You will build data warehouses and models to support reporting and analytics, and create dashboards using Power BI and Amazon QuickSight.

The role requires strong SQL skills, SAP BDC experience, and familiarity with AWS data services. Proficiency in Python or R is a plus, with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Data Science, Statistics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, or related roles.
• Advanced SQL skills: complex joins, window functions, and optimization.
• Experience with SAP (BDC) and BI tools like Power BI and Amazon QuickSight.
• Familiarity with AWS data ecosystem and basic Python or R is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL) to integrate data from ERP/SAP systems into centralized data repositories.

Build and optimize data warehouse structures, data marts, and data models to support business reporting and analytics needs.

Transform raw data into meaningful dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Amazon QuickSight.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources including databases and data lakes.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and system reliability.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or related roles.

Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization.

Experience with SAP systems (especially BDC – Batch Data Communication) and BI tools such as Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and Amazon QuickSight.

Familiarity with AWS data ecosystem (S3, Redshift, Athena, RDS) and basic knowledge of Python or R is an advantage.
