Job summary

Flex is seeking a results-driven Commodity Analyst – Indirect to support indirect sourcing activities, supplier management, and cost optimization initiatives in a spin-off context for SpinCo. The role centers on data analysis, RFQ execution, and cross-functional coordination to enable efficient procurement operations.

You will analyze spend data, lead RFQ processes, and work with internal stakeholders to drive cost savings while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or materials planning.
• Experience in data analysis, RFQ handling, and supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of indirect procurement or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support RFQ process, price analysis, and supplier selection for indirect spend.
• Conduct data analysis on spend, pricing trends, and cost drivers.
• Assist in negotiations and contract execution with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier performance and delivery compliance.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and finance to clarify requirements.
• Support cost savings, cost avoidance, and inventory optimization.
• Analyze and report commodity risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes.
